Junior AI Engineer
At talentix one engineer builds an entire module, with agents as colleagues. That means you spend more time deciding what needs to be built and checking whether it holds up than on typing itself. If that sounds like a strange way to work, this is not for you. If it sounds exciting, you will learn more here in a year than anywhere else.
What you will do
- You build on Blueprint, Scout, Reach or Meet — Next.js, TypeScript and Supabase
- You write evals: how do you actually know an AI output is good enough?
- You work with agents daily and learn where to trust them and where not to
- You see your work running with real recruiters within days, not next quarter
What you bring
- You have built something that works — studies, internship or side project, does not matter
- You know TypeScript or pick it up quickly
- You are curious about language models, not just as a user
- You push back when an assignment does not add up, instead of just executing it
What you get from us
- Salary as listed above, plus a bonus tied to team results
- Laptop, phone and travel allowance
- 26 holidays
- Office in Haarlem, hybrid working in consultation
- Lunch at the office every day
- An AI budget: you work with the best tools, not with whatever is already there
- Quarterly outings, workshops and a team that knows the craft from the inside
How the process runs
01 — Intro call
30 minutes, video or at our office in Haarlem. You hear what we are building, we hear what you are looking for.
02 — Working session
Not a case study we made up once, but a real problem from our backlog. You work through it with us.
03 — Final talk and offer
You meet one of the founders. After that you know where you stand within a week — yes or no.
Please note: we are unfortunately unable to process applications from candidates who do not hold a European passport, are not currently residing in the Netherlands, or do not have professional proficiency in Dutch. We are not a recognised sponsor and are specifically looking for someone based in or around Haarlem. We kindly ask you not to apply if this does not apply to you.
